Pupils of primary school “Oktoih” visited bank and learned how to save

Podgorica, 31st October 2013.

At the occasion of the World day of savings 31st October, the pupils of elementary school “Oktoih” from Podgorica visited Societe Generale Montenegro.

With their hosts from SGME children visited few departments in the bank and learnt about the banking operations. The employees in the bank explained to the children how to save money and valuables, how to use safe deposit boxes and why it is important to save money from early age.

The children visited branch Moskovska where they observed the welcoming of the clients, cash counting, use of ATM and other branch operations.

The quiz about the bank and savings was organized for children and Societe Generale Montenegro will prepare a CD with all the answers of little guests. Gifts and piggy banks were given to all kids in order to save the money they will receive from their parents, grand parents…

Societe Generale Montenegro traditionally joined the action “Saving week” of the Central bank of Montenegro. During this action, the bank and the Central bank will provide the savings accounts with 400 € to the children born during the Savings week and the best literate works on the competition which was launched will be awarded.
